Which people and projects are making a difference to the environment in Bedfordshire?

CPRE Bedfordshire is looking for entries for its 2016 living countryside awards, to recognise the people and projects that are improving the county’s biodiversity, landscape, building design and local sustainability. 

Our living countryside awards showcase the individuals, community groups, landowners and businesses that make special efforts to enhance Bedfordshire’s rich and diverse environment, the awards reflect the enjoyment and benefits brought to local communities through these inspiring projects. 

Enter our 2016 awards

This is a great chance to get recognition for the great work being done across Bedfordshire. Anyone involved in projects or businesses that are benefiting our local environment, rural economy or landscapes is encouraged to apply.

Who can enter?

Nominations are invited from individuals, public bodies, groups, farmers and businesses across Bedfordshire.  Anyone working to improve the future of our county’s green spaces and countryside is invited to enter.

The four categories are:

  • Biodiversity and landscape improvement
  • Sustainable enterprise 
  • Buildings for life
  • Greening our schools
