This was a new initiative and the feedback we’ve received from those receiving the Briefing Documents has been very positive.

In November, the National Infrastructure Commission issued a report covering their development proposals for the Oxford – Cambridge Arc (sometimes called Corridor).

This is one of the most important strategic planning proposals for our area in many years and, if carried forward, the impact on Bedfordshire and surrounding counties will be dramatic.

Attached is our Briefing Document No.1 - it covers the NIC proposals for the Oxford – Milton Keynes – Bedford – Cambridge Arc and our views on them.
