A local company Emsrayne are proposing to build the 6th largest incinerator in the country on 7ha of agricultural land within the green belt. Details of this can be found on local opposition’s group SHLI‘s website.
At the moment the company have requested a screening opinion from CBC on what would need to be included within an Environmental Impact Assessment which would accompany any planning application.
This is usually the pre-cursor to a planning application so we will be watching this space closely…
