Over eighty people gathered together to celebrate the fantastic projects across Bedfordshire in CPRE Bedfordshire's sixth Living Countryside Awards presentation on 7th October.

The presentation event was held at the stunning venue of Moggerhanger Park, which is a previous winner of a CPRE Award, and those attending the event were offered a tour of the distinctive house.

The awards recognise the projects and people benefitting the countryside of Bedfordshire, and this year turned up some truly inspiring and creative projects.

HM Lord-Lieutenant Helen Nellis presented the awards, and commented on the wide variety of projects that help to make Bedfordshire a very special county.

This year, seven CPRE Marks were awarded – the top award – which is the highest number awarded in any one year. This is excellent news for Bedfordshire, demonstrating the good work being done across the county to benefit our countryside and urban green spaces.
