Any project that makes a positive difference to Bedfordshire's countryside is encouraged to enter - previous winning projects have included new buildings in harmony with their local surroundings, the creation of wildlife habitats, local food initiatives, rural craft businesses, the restoration of historical buildings and environmentally sensitive farming practices.
