Our trustees are very much valued at CPRE Bedfordshire, giving their time and commitment and making a huge difference to our small charity. They volunteer their time and work together, to make the key decisions about what we do and the way we work.
As well as sitting on our Executive Committee, many of our trustees are also involved in working with our branch staff member and other volunteers to help our work in specific area.
At the moment we are looking for trustees with some experience and interest in one of these key areas:
- raising our profile to boost membership and fundraising
- becoming more effective campaigners
- recruiting and managing our volunteers
- arranging and taking minutes of our meetings as our Honorary Secretary
This is an important time for CPRE Bedfordshire. Next year, the branch will be 30 years old, and in that time the branch has evolved into a respected local environmental organisation with a voice on local planning issues.
Over the next few years we would like to become better at taking opportunities to raise our profile, build membership and actively campaign. Can you help us do this?
If you’re interested in finding out more about joining out executive committee and have some enthusiasm to help take our branch forward, we’d love to hear from you.
